Now, we’re looking for a talented and self motivated Senior Water Engineer to work in our Water Resources team in Adelaide. 

 

As our Senior Water Engineer you will be engaged in a wide range of cutting-edge projects and studies aimed at providing high quality solutions in the water and environmental sectors covering water supply, sewerage, stormwater and effluent recycling, ASR, mine water management, natural resource management, and pumps and pipelines. You will also follow projects from concept through to detail design phase and have total control over project and client management. All of your work will be supported by SKM’s unique multidisciplinary team structure and empowering culture. 

You will be tertiary qualified in either civil or environmental engineering with a background in applying these skills in the water sector. You are able to understand the drivers within the water industry and how to successfully deliver project outcomes. Depending on your preference, skills and experience you may join one of our high profile joint ventures or projects, or play an integral part in multi-disciplinary teams and bidding for work. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of project delivery from planning, conceptual, preliminary and detailed design, including project management. As all our roles are client facing, a high level of written and verbal communication is required.  Your professional credibility and interpersonal skills make you a natural builder of business and relationships. Additionally, as a senior at SKM you will be encouraged to mentor and lead junior staff.
