Technical leadership opportunity with global consulting firm within ecological assessments, project management and business development.

This successful, multidisciplinary consultancy has a significant reputation across the Asia Pacific region and beyond. With a key focus on water and environment the past few years have seen the company go from strength to strength in terms of broadening capabilities and project success.

As part of planned growth in the environment sector, there is now a need for an Ecology expert to join the team in Victoria.

This senior role will provide the opportunity to team lead a number of ecologists whilst still being technically hands on regarding assessments (EIA), reporting and planning.

Other responsibilities will be to project manage, further develop the ecology offering of the company to clients and to become something of a recognised expert in this field within the organisation.

I am keen to speak with qualified ecologists of at least 8 years post graduate experience. Ideally this will have been within consulting but some of this may have been gained working in local government or authorities.

Your communication and report writing skills will be excellent as will your ability to develop client relationships, follow up new business opportunities and to mentor teams for successful project delivery.

Knowledge of state and federal environmental policies and legislation is essential.

An attractive salary package will be offered commensurate with level of experience.
