Australia’s leading resource for environmental employment, education and events
South East Water supports a diverse education program for primary and secondary schools in our service region in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Due to growing demand, we are looking to develop and deliver a tailored early childhood water conservation program. In this context, a vacancy exists for a casual Education Assistant (Early Childhood), reporting to the Schools and Community Education Coordinator for the next six months (extension may be possible).
The incumbent will be required to develop and deliver a dedicated early childhood education program. This will include liaising with the early childhood sector on its educational needs, researching similar programs, developing a database of early childhood centres in the South East Water region, and the administration of the program.
The successful applicant will have a passion for environmental issues and experience in developing and delivering early childhood programs. A qualification in early childhood development/education is desirable – students studying towards a qualification in early childhood development/education are encouraged to apply.
Written applications must be received by Friday March 6th and should include a supporting cover letter (no longer than two pages addressing the position description) and resume. Candidates can obtain a position description by emailing education@sewl.com.au. Enquiries can be directed to Kerry Archer, Schools and Community Education Coordinator, at this email address or on 9552 3682.
