Position No: DSE 802644The Department of Sustainability and Environment is seeking a creative and innovative individual to join the Environmental Policy and Climate Change division as Manager of Climate Change Policy and Legislation. In this role you will manage a high performance team which develops and delivers climate change strategies and policies for Victoria and lead an innovative legislative program to respond to climate change. This role will call on your deep awareness of the environmental policy environment at an international, national, state and local level and your ability to lead an innovative legislation program. You will bring with you solid experience in people management and development and the ability to think strategically about climate change strategy in Victoria and at the national level.This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to lead a highly skilled team, operating in a complex and changing environment, one that will allow you to interact and negotiate with multiple stakeholders from a variety of professional backgrounds and one that will present continuous opportunities for both professional and personal development.
