Conservation Volunteers World Conservation Program in South Africa

Immerse yourself in Africa,the land famous for its exotic wildlife, ancient cultures, and pristine landscapes.  Enjoy a unique experience like no other tourist and be involved in critical research and development of a best practice management model for private game reserves across South Africa to ensure the survival of some of our most distinct and amazing animals including; Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe, Rhino, Leopard and the list goes on....

Some of the activities volunteers will be involved in include:

* Animal population dynamics – recording density of populations of species such as big five species as well as Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Warthog and many more, through morning and afternoon game drives.
* Elephant population densisty – data capture program including population density, in addition to identifying individuals through the recording of distinctive characteristics.
* Lion predation trends – recording of Lion prey species to establish records on prey dynamics and associated impacts

The setting for this unforgettable experience is within the Greater Kruger National Park on the border of the World renown Kruger National Park
