We are looking for an energy worker to join the team. You primary responsibility will be to deliver a statewide energy conservation and advice program. You will be providing advice, options, support and advocacy to individuals, families and groups of consumers who find themselves in financial difficulties. Your aim will be to lower future energy bills, through recommendations resulting in behavioural changes of the client.
Excellent relationship building and communication skills will be a must coupled with your result driven attitude and team spirit. It is critical that you show an understanding of the issues some of your clients will be facing and therefore your ability to be empathetic and compassionate towards your clients is a given. A degree in a related field or relevant experience will be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a police check and apply for a Working with Children's card WWC.
This position is a full time contract until June 30th, 2011 with a possibility of an extension. This is a CDW Cl 2b, (Year dependant upon qualifications and experience)
