Eco Harvest is specialist design group of scientists and engineers that focuses on water sustainability solutions. We develop specific solutions for water treatment and re use. We have a passion for the design and construction of naturally-based passive systems for the treatment and re-use of storm and waste water. We work in the construction, industrial and mining fields. We currently have an opportunity in our Melbourne office for an experienced stormwater wetland designer - engineer and or aquatic scientist with a passion for water treatment and water quality.

Role:  
•    Be a self starter with passion and enthusiasm, prepared to work in a small office environment with other scientists and engineers, be prepared to learn new ideas and work outside your comfort zone.
•    A knowledge in water treatment and waste water systems, biofiltration systems and  wetlands technology is a requirement either waste water and or stormwater wetlands
•    Assist in the design and development of storm water and waste water treatment systems
•    Assist in the design of waste water treatment systems for human and industrial waste water
•    Undertake hydraulic modeling and analysis, BOD, TSS and nutrient treatment modeling and analysis, and design of treatment systems
•    Liaise with clients, local, state and national government regulators in the development and design of wastewater treatment systems
•    Assist in the preparation and delivery of technical reports, tender submissions, writing plans, specifications and other documentation

Key selection criteria:

•    Relevant engineering and or scientific qualification with minimum 5+ years relevant experience in stormwater wetland design, water and or waste water treatment projects, must have a good understanding of bio-filtration water treatment principals.
•    Familiarity with the AutoCAD drawing package not necessary but an advantage
•    An understanding of WSUD engineering principals not necessary but an advantage
•    Proven written communication oral communication and client liaison skills
•    Proven proficient report writing skills ( this is a “must have” requirement)
An attractive salary package will be offered commensurate with level of experience
