The Department of Primary Industries is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individuals to fill the role of Landcare Coordinator ? Yelta & Kulkyne Way, responsible for coordinating and facilitating a targeted and integrated approach to Landcare support and biodiversity conservation in the Northern Irrigation districts of the Mallee.

Position Details

The position will also be responsible for promotion and delivery of priority Landcare outcomes to groups and individuals and build community momentum for on-ground works to protect the key environmental assets of the region.

Applicants are required to have demonstrated understanding of the issues related to Landcare and rural communities along with excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a full time fixed term position available until 30 June 2009. The position will be located at Irymple.

This position requires the incumbent to hold a current Working With Children Check card.

 

Salary

$50,175 - $60,922
