We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for sustainability who wants to make a real difference when it comes to improving the environment for this role.

The project is part of the Urban Sustainability Program of the NSW Environmental Trust and will be hosted by Willoughby Council in partnership with Hornsby, Kuring-gai and North Sydney Councils. The project aims to increase the participation of small to medium business in improving their sustainability performance.

The Co-ordinator is required to develop and implement the project plan in consultation with the Project Steering Committee.

You will need:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in the business community
• Proven experience in assisting business development
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with business
• Project management skills
• Ability to effect change in business practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and report writing skills
• Ability to effectively use computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
• Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence

Salary

$72 601 to $82 049 p/a (includes Super) + Leaseback Vehicle
Contract to December 2011
