We currently have a vacancy for a Parks Officer to join our Parks and Recreation Branch to cover a maternity leave vacancy. This position plays an important role in the team, being responsible for the management of natural areas, including bush regeneration contracts, strategies and plans of management.

The successful applicant must have a Degree in Environmental Science or Land Management or equivalent qualification as well as Bush Regeneration qualifications, a Class C licence and WorkCover OHS General Induction Certificate.

A demonstrated knowledge of bushland management, local vegetation communities, relevant legislation with experience in staff management, contract management and site supervision is considered essential. Computer skills and experience in a range of relevant software programs is also required.
