The Otesha Project (Australia): Cycling for Sustainability



Are you interested in helping to reduce consumption and make it more sustainable in Australia? Are you interested in helping further our project through funding?

Join our non-hierarchical grassroots movement of youth that want to spread the message of sustainable consumption around rural Australia in a different way. We are in need of someone who can help us research and write grant applications for our organization.

A not-for-profit organisation, The Otesha Project (Australia): Cycling for Sustainability, offers bicycle tours and educational programs to engage youth about sustainable consumption. Using theatre, multimedia, and interactive workshops, Otesha (Aust.)’s creative focus provides a unique approach to understanding environmental and social justice issues, enabling youth to become role models and sustainability advocates.

The objectives of The Otesha Project (Australia) are to increase awareness about the impacts of the products and resources we consume, increase the number of responsible consumer choices made by young Australians, and increase the number of young role models and sustainability advocates.

Job Description
•    Research applicable grants that fall into our existing funding guidelines
•    Write grant applications for various projects
•    Help us write reports after the completion of grant applications

This job will further your skills in working in a collaborative grassroots team based in downtown Melbourne.
We really appreciate all the energy that past volunteers have put into our organisation and would love to receive your application.
