Beechworth Historic Park is a haven for native wildlife such as wombats, kangaroos, possums and wallabies. Volunteers will be working to improve tracks to minimise visitor impact on the Eucalyptus and native Cypress pine forests throughout the park. Volunteers will stay in Beechworth, a town which has beautiful historic buildings, Aboriginal art sites and is the place where Australia's most famous bushranger Ned Kelly was once imprisoned.
