Melbourne Aquarium is one of Victoria's premier day-out destinations and attracts over 700,000 visitors annually. Our Education and Interpretation team is responsible for communicating messages to the visiting public, as well as educating school groups of all ages.
Applications are sought from tertiary qualified professionals who can deliver high quality, innovative education and interpretation initiatives to school groups and members of the visiting public. A dedication to delivering high-quality presentations and excellent public speaking skills are essential to the position.
The appointees are required to be flexible, enthusiastic and passionate marine educators who are available to work 15 - 25 hours weekly. Some weekend and after hours work will be a mandatory for the position.
Experience in a similar environment, significant work experience in a related field or knowledge of aquatic ecosystems would be advantageous, but is not essential. Written applications for this position should be sent to:
