The Moreland Energy Foundation Limited (MEFL) is a unique community based organisation that works across all sectors of the community to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. MEFL develops and delivers leading edge projects, training, community education, technology trials, policy and advocacy work and provides direct advice to households, businesses and community organisations. This role will provide assistance to the recently funded Moreland Solar City initiative.
Purpose of role:
MEFL is about to commence a large scale community engagement campaign and requires a project support worker to work with a small team of communications and engagement specialists. The Project Support Worker – Communications will support a variety of outreach and engagement projects with a diverse range of participants from across the community.
The ideal candidate will have:
Suitable candidates will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and have had experience working on community projects. They may come from a range of backgrounds including community-based organisations, not-for-profit, government, corporate or agency sectors. This role is an ideal opportunity to support and learn about best practice behavior change programs in action.
