The Moreland Energy Foundation Limited (MEFL) is a unique community based organisation that works across all sectors of the community to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. MEFL develops and delivers leading edge projects, training, community education, technology trials, policy and advocacy work and provides direct advice to households, businesses and community organisations. This role will provide assistance to the recently funded Moreland Solar City initiative.
Purpose of role:
The focus of this role is to lead and manage a small team of specialist communications and community engagement staff. The Communications and Engagement Manager will develop and direct the implementation of our organisation’s communications platform and community engagement strategy.

Applicants should be self-motivated leaders who can develop and direct the implementation of our organisation’s communications platform and community engagement strategy. They will have at least 6 years relevant work experience. They may come from a range of backgrounds including community-based organisations, not-for-profit, government, corporate or agency sectors.
