Assist with management of Protected Areas and Marine Parks to conserve natural and cultural resources; facilitate use for recreational, educational, cultural and scientific purpose consistent with the Nature Conservation Act, Queensland Marine Parks Act and Great Barrier Reef Marine Parks Act and promote an awareness, understanding and appreciation of conservation values to users.

Job skill requirement:
1. Ability or potential to undertake infrastructure maintenance and natural and cultural resource management and provide support. (Critical)
2. Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture with sound knowledge of issues that relate directly to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. (Critical)
3. Ability or potential to participate and support others in a team. (Critical)
4. Ability to demonstrate a client focus and to act ethically. (Highly desirable).
5. Good communication and time management skills. (Highly desirable).
Mandatory Requirements
You must have an unrestricted driver’s licence and be prepared to obtain a manual licence if required.
