The Senior Officer is responsible for the staff in the inventory and modelling team, compilation and interpretation of more complex air quality data, initiating reviews, developing integrated monitoring tools and managing field projects and experiments, including the Adelaide Airshed Model and EPA air emissions inventory. The incumbent will also provide authoritative consultancy advice related to air quality issues and planning processes.

 

If you have experience in developing or working with databases, environmental models and emissions inventories; managing environmental programs and projects; critically analysing, evaluating and reporting on complex environmental information, especially air quality data; strategies and/or legislation;and you can demonstrate high level communication skills, including an ability to produce information that is readily understood by non-specialists and produce well-researched, clear and concise reports, plans and recommendations; leadership skills, particularly with multi-disciplinary teams; well-developed interpersonal skills that facilitate interaction, cooperation and trust with internal and external clients; an ability to work independently, determine priorities and exercise professional judgement; and you want to be part of a dynamic and innovative work place, please refer below on how to apply.
