The primary role of the position is to implement a number of governance-related continuous improvement projects to enhance the performance of Victoria’s water industry. The Position also coordinates the State’s Blue-green Algae incident reporting.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
These outline the responsibilities and outcomes required of the role in priority order, and form the basis of an individual’s Performance Plan.
• Accountable for implementing a number of continuous improvement projects to improve
water industry performance.
• Analyse and report on general business performance issues of water corporations including
strategic assessments, corporate plans, and annual reports and periodic performance
reports.
• Coordinate the State’s Blue Green Algae reporting framework.
• Provide support to the Program Director, Governance and Risk, and the Divisional Group
Directors in relation to a range of water industry reporting requirements, the provision of
analysis and timely advice on policy issues and implementing governance and risk
management arrangements covering the water sector.
• Prepare correspondence and briefing notes for senior management and Ministers.
• Manage a variety of adhoc projects within specified timeframes.
