We seek to make Sydney Olympic Park the premier destination for entertainment, leisure, business events and quality residential/commercial environments.

Plan, coordinate and implement the Authority’s ecosystem management program, and provide high level technical support associated with environmental compliance management and reporting, to meet the Authority’s duty of care and statutory obligations.

Selection Criteria    

  • Tertiary qualifications in natural sciences (ecology, biology, natural resource management) or related field, together with substantial technical understanding of urban parkland ecosystem management.    
  • Proven experience with implementing full aspects of environmental compliance programs.    
  • Ability to identify, plan, conduct and report on ecological monitoring programs and investigations relevant to parkland management.    
  • Capacity to analyse and distil complex scientific information, identify key issues and develop viable options to solve problems.    
  • Experience in budget management, and in developing, documenting, tendering and managing works and services contracts.    
  • Strong report writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences both verbally and in writing.

Salary

Total remuneration package to: $100,147.00 ($82,356.00-$90,754.00)
