The economic, environmental and social well-being of future generations depends on the responsible decisions we make about the State's water needs today. The Department of Water leads the management of Western Australia’s water resources, ensuring that the states water needs are met, both now and in the future.

 

We are seeking self-motivated people interested in working as Program Manager with the Department of Water, in Water Resource Use. Suitable applicants will be placed in a recruitment pool, which will operate for 12 months, from which they will be considered for appointment as opportunities arise. Acceptance into the recruitment pool does not guarantee a placement.

Successful applicants may also have the opportunity to work within different divisions for the department. Your role will be to coordinate strategic projects associated within the Region; plan, implement and coordinate strategic planning process for future development, and provide a high level of advice to managing authorities and advisory committees as required on issues relating to environmental and water resources management.

Salary

Level 6, $74036 to $81983, PSGA
