With operations focussed in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, our client is focussed on delivering quality to services to a range of residential and commercial/industrial clients. With a long pipeline of work, they currently seek the services of an Environmental Officer.

Reporting the head of Environment, your role will involve but not be limited to:

• Ongoing improvement to the current EMS
• Preparation of a variety of plans and reports around environmental and sustainability regulatory issues
• Identification of Flora and Fauna issues for projects as they arise and preparation of associated permitting applications;
• Management of environmental accreditations

To be considered for this role you will have a degree qualification in engineering or science coupled with experience in the region of 2 to 4 years. In addition you will have:

• An excellent understanding of ISO14001 principles
• Experience developing and/or maintaining an EMS
• A good understanding of Victorian environmental legislation
• Experience managing a range of project stakeholders including ecologists, engineers and government groups
• An outgoing and friendly personality and consider yourself a great team player
• Some experience managing small to medium sized projects around water or infrastructure
