With a significant worldwide business, our client is a multidisciplinary engineering firm specialising predominantly in transportation, water and power, maritime and property. The Australian water team works from various bases including Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. As a part of the water business strategy, they are currently investigating an opportunity to employ a Senior Water Modeller for the Melbourne business.

The primary function of this position is to produce technical models for a variety of water-based projects as well as attempt to win work using your existing networks. Reporting the National Manager of the Water Division, you will ideally have:

•    10+ years’ experience
•    Extensive experience in either Hydraulic or Hydrological modelling
•    A good professional relationship with key decision makers in the water industry (authorities, state government departments, etc)
•    An ability to lead people and projects
•    Experience in winning work and building business relationships

Our client is not in a rush to find anyone for this role, they insisted they are looking for the right person. In return, they are looking to pay a salary in excess of $100k + bonuses, depending on experience. 100-120k negotiable
