Wellington Council has an exciting and challenging opportunity for the planning specialist wishing to take the next step.   As Manager Planning and Development Services you will be responsible for the management of the planning and development services function across all of Wellington Council.  Working with a capable and experienced team, you will be responsible for keeping Council informed of planning activities and issues and to strive for continuous improvement of planning functions.

Salary

This position is evaluated at Grade 21 in accordance with Council’s salary system, with an attractive salary to be negotiated with the successful applicant including the provision of a vehicle under Council’s generous leaseback arrangements.  Council will consider a higher remuneration package for an outstanding applicant.
