The unique role of engineers in providing appropriate access for disadvantaged communities will be explored at Engineers Without Borders 2008 National Conference in November.

Titled Access2008:Knowledge.Resources.Technology, the EWB Conference is a hub of learning and inspiration. Delegates will hear from the most exciting and innovative people working in situations where community development and appropriate design intersect. Using the technical sectors in which EWB works as a focus, core development principles will be explored through hands-on, theory based and group work sessions.
