Australia’s leading resource for environmental employment, education and events
For the festive month of December we have decided to do something a
little different, join us in celebration and gain some inspiration from
this sustainable space.
A reminder that it is essential to RSVP every month. Due to the ever increasing popularity of
the event, it may not be possible to accommodate people who do not RSVP. Melbourne Sustainability Drinks will recommence in February 2009 following this December event – watch the website for details.
This is not a sponsored event; i.e. you buy your own drinks. We choose to come together in the spirit of a shared interest. So come and join us at the next “Melbourne Sustainability Drinks” held on Wednesday December 3rd from 6 – 8pm.
Melbourne Sustainability Drinks will be held at the Greenhouse, a self-sustaining event venue at Federation Square established for three months only that will dish up degustation fare - in part dug from the garden of its own roof-top space - in a structure designed entirely from detritus. Tiny ‘taste-tubes’ (science laboratory ware is just some of the discard to double as dishes) will be served by vintage-dressed waiters wheeling ‘de-registered’ shopping trolleys around furniture made from found ‘stuff’.
