EJN-Hosted Events

Each year, EJN staff and volunteers organise and participate in dozens of events attended by EJN members, job seekers, educators, students and employers.

The "Careers In..." Series has thus far covered Women in the Environment (2005), Careers in Water (2006), and Careers in Climate Change (2007).

Interactive Environmental Careers Workshops each year at the Sustainable Living Festival have explored and established the Top Ten Tips for Obtaining an Environmental Job (2006); for Environmental Career Changers (2007); and for Troubleshooting the job hunting process (2008).  Read a summary of these tips compiled by EJN in our Publications section.

EJN has also focussed on bringing awareness of environmental careers into the mainstream by attending the Age VCE and Careers Expo (2006-2009); the Herald Sun Careers Expo (2008-2009); Reinvent Your Career (2009); and numerous rural and university environment and careers fairs.

EJN also runs monthly Environmental Careers Workshop and for several years has provided a range of careers services.  Read more at our Resources section.
